The tests of our stolen blood are back

Both Perfy and I had our blood stolen this week! Our vet called tonight. Mom's stoopid phone didn't ring so all Mom got was a message but she'll talk to our vet on Monday. Our stolen blood told our vet many things.

My (Kodak) insulin has been increased to 3 units 2x a day! I had a Fructosamine test yesterday and obviously the numbers weren't what our vet was hoping for so she upped my insulin from 2 units 2x a day to 3 units 2x a day!

Perf's stolen blood results are mostly back. Our vet is still waiting for a T4 and another test. But she said that the results look good but that there are subtle changes. She said if the T4 comes back Perfy could have Hyperthyroidism. that might explain his weightloss(he's lost 4 lbs since march) and why he's sleeping under the covers with Mom!

Our vet will be in the office on Monday and mom is supposed to call her then...but I've already started getting my 3units of insulin!

Thursday Lounging

Hi friends. I just got out from the vet. I had blood stolen so my fructosamine level could be checked for my diabetes! Mom let's me lounge afterwards!

My brudder, 3 Perf, was at the vet yesterday. Mom said he wade horrible noises when they stole his blood! I just let them take it but Perf has to have a muzzle put on and has to be held down by 2 vet techs! I'm the good kitty at the vet-they all LOVE me! But Perf has "CAUTION!!!" On his chart! It's amazing how different brudders can be!

A new bed?

Mom bought us kitties a childrens cot for our trip back to Tennessee at christmas! She thought it would be nice to give us an elevated sleeping area while she drives so we can sun ourselves and look out the windows!

Tuesday Toes....

Mom signed up to run the Carlsbad Half Marathon for some doggy charity

Mom has signed up and will be running the Carlsbad Half Marathon again this year for one of their official charities, Labrador Rescuers. It's a doggie charity-they don't seem to have cat charities at these running events so I guess we'll have to support a doggy charity! We can't run it with her...why would we want to run? But mom saved us all-so we support her wanting to help doggies that don't have a home.

An orange morning

Mom says it's always an orange morning, every morning! I always sleep at mom's head. When her alarm goes off, I'm right there, with the dog, to help her wake up!

Vet time for Blossom

Today, mom took me out all by myself in the car! We went to the v-e-t.....mom said I was due a yearly exam and a booster vaccine. I wasn't too happy about being there but I had mom with me so I felt safe!

The vet said I looked really good! Clean ears, healthy coat and I'm a perfect weight!!
